Digital Storytelling
Hello again, I will continue my blog with the tenth week. Our aim in this week's lesson is to explore the storytelling tool called "Storyjumper" and work on our final project. First of all, I want to talk about storytelling. Storytelling; The fact that the data presented in the communication for persuasion exists in a process that touches the lives of the customers. It means that the target audience visualizes the presented content, connects with their previous experiences and is emotionally stimulated.(https://www.speakeragency.com.tr/blog/storytelling-hikaye-anlaticiligi-nedir-neden-onemlidir)
In the "Scenes" section, there are background templates to edit the background of our page and we can make adjustments from here. The last tab we can add visually is the "Photos" section. From here, we can add different photos to the page we designed. In general, visual edits can be made this way on the Storyjumper site.
Apart from the visual arrangements, when we come to the narration part of the work, we encounter a tab called "Voice". Here, we are allowed to add voiceovers to the visual design and text we make. We use this to voice our page.
In general, we can summarize the use of the tool as follows. Using this tool we will prepare a book for our final project and integrate it into our lesson.
Final Project
Apart from learning how to use the tool, we continued to work with my group friends about our final
project during our lesson this week. Since we are going to create a lesson about addiction, we worked on the course plan and determined the topics that we will teach in the course. We also discussed and drafted how to use the Storyjumper tool in our project.
